Modulo M is the only company in the world to have designed and patented a multi-layer fabric, POLDURA, to manufacture its own drysuits. The suits are completely sealed using the radio-frequency technique. The glues used do not contain toxic solvents.
The use of water solvent glues make the multi layer fabric, and hence the drysuits, unique in terms of design technique and hygiene.
The fabric supports used, bi-elastic nylon integrated with top-quality polyurethane, ensure excellent flexibility and elasticity. This ensures comfort which improves with use.
POLDURA
is the registered trademark of a polyurethane based group of fabrics specifically designed for use in the manufacturing of underwater garments.
The choice of the basic materials is the result of detailed research aimed at supplying the underwater garment market, both amateur and professional, with clothing that can be summarised as follows:
- Good resistance to many gases and chemical composites, such as oil, hydrocarbons, grease, oxygen, air, nitrogen, etc
- Good resistance to wear and tear.
- Good resistance to cold, water and crushing.
- Softness and flexibility maintained at all temperatures.
- No deformation at high pressure.
